I had the chance to try this place during the New England Food Truck Festival on Mohegan Sun. The brisket was so tender and the red beans and rice was cooked to perfection.

Stopped here for lunch and was not disappointed. My mother and I split a brisket and it was delicious! For sides we got the baked beans and corned bread as well as a side of hush puppies. The hush puppies might have been my favorite part. It came with a dipping sauce that complimented them well (we couldn't figure out exactly what the sauce was, but was tasty). Service was also friendly and quick. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I thought it was on the higher price end for bbq stops.

#1 The food here was GREAT. Tender meat, great selection of sides, and excellent mac n cheese. They also had great sweet tea, which can be hard to find in the Northeast!
#2 The staff is so nice. While we were having technical issues with out uhaul truck, they allowed us to wait inside the restaurant, chatted with us, and even offered to change the TV channel for us. Very very nice people! -

Made a large order Uber eats when are order arrive we began eating the chicken wings they were raw inside , also ordered shrimp and grits that was not good at all please stick to BBQ. This is so sad because when they first open up the food was delicious , they have fallen short.

Ordered Mac and cheese from the food truck at the mystic aquarium in March and found a hair in my food. Naturally I was disappointed and just threw it away. My boyfriend however, enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich.
